Frequently asked questions

Looking for an easy to brew bean that always tastes good? Looloos Private Blend is exactly that – a versatile blend suited to any machine or brew method for a deliciously good, easy coffee. Designed to have a richness that stands on its own as an espresso or black coffee, and the body to cut through milk if that’s what you fancy. The private blend tastes great through an AeroPress or stovetop and makes a banging cold brew. Order one in store to try before you buy.

If you prefer something with less coffee content, opt for a decaf, otherwise if you want to mix it up, check out our single origin page – regularly rotated and updated depending on seasonality, our single O’s are a great way to work in sometimes-chocolatey-sometimes-fruity flavours to your morning brew.

We use the best quality beans from Ethiopia and Brazil, with a touch of Robusta beans. The addition of Robusta adds body and richness to round out the blend and bind it all together. It also adds a little extra caffeine (arguably the most important benefit). But the best bit? Every bean we brew is sustainably sourced.

Unopened our private blend will last up to 12 months. Once opened, it’s best consumed within 2 weeks. Single origin coffees will last up to 3 months unopened, best consumed within 2 weeks once opened. Coffee ground to order is best consumed within 2 weeks.

Keep your coffee in a cool, dark, dry place. Once opened, store in an airtight container. We recommend the Airscape Canister, available in our online shop.

Yes, we do! However, we do recommend grinding at home. This allows you to make any necessary grind adjustments to suit your machine. Ground coffee also oxides quicker and won't last as long as whole beans.

Regularly brewed in small batches, our cold brew is preservative free. Unopened it is best consumed within 4 weeks. Once opened it’s best consumed within 2 weeks. All bottles are labelled with a best before date.

Cold brew is best stored in the fridge.

Each Roadie is individually sealed and will last 12 months unopened.

You sure can. Sign up to one of our monthly coffee subscriptions and never run out of your favourite bean. No nasty lock in contacts, easy to opt out.

Espresso roast is darker and better suited to espresso machines. Filter is a lighter roast more suitable to pour-over or drip filter methods.
